We are incredibly proud to announce that, for the second year in a row, the LinkedKey MUN Team has been named Best Large Delegation at Harvard Model United Nations China (HMUN China) 2026!
This incredible victory is even more impressive considering that, compared with the second-place team, we earned three times as many awards and four times as many points. We received awards in 12 of 14 committees, bringing home 5 Best Delegate awards, 5 Second Place awards, and 2 Third Place awards.
This year’s HMUN China welcomed more than 200 teams and students from over 40 countries. With more than twice the number of international participants compared with last year, the conference was significantly more competitive, and we had the opportunity to compete against some of the strongest MUN teams across Asia.
Our preparation did not come without challenges. We had a rocky start, with some students becoming unwell and the team needing time to fully lock in. But as the conference progressed, we became one cohesive unit, supporting and motivating one another and ultimately pulling through when it mattered most.
Beyond the competition itself, HMUN China gave us an incredible cultural and international experience. From the dragon dance at the opening ceremony to the Global Village community showcase, we truly enjoyed connecting with MUNers from around the world. This year’s conference was also broadcast on television, with the event covered by CCTV, China’s national broadcaster.
We sincerely thank our teaching assistants, coaching team, and LK administrative team for all their hard work, guidance, and support.
A special thank you goes to Jeremy Dong, our HMUN China 2026 Head Delegate, whose leadership played an instrumental role in keeping our team focused, motivated, and united. HMUN China 2026 was a truly memorable way to conclude his MUN journey.
We would also like to congratulate Ryan Yu on his incredible success this year. His perseverance and determination throughout the journey made his achievement especially meaningful, and his story is one we will remember for many years to come.
Finally, we want to sincerely thank every one of you for being part of the LinkedKey MUN Team. With our back-to-back Best Large Delegation victories at WeMUN and HMUN China, achieved by two separate teams for the second year in a row, we can confidently say that we have established ourselves as a powerhouse in the Asian Model UN circuit.
